Elizabeth Quay

Perth’s riverfront was once a place for picnics and paddling, with public baths along the water’s edge. As the city grew, new development cut off the connection between the river and the city, culminating in 1940 when Riverside Drive was built. Completed in December 2016, Elizabeth Quay is a landmark waterfront development that brings the river and the city together again, creating a dynamic new entertainment and leisure precinct for Perth locals and visitors.

Additional to fabulous dining choices on the water’s edge in Elizabeth Quay, you can also take a ride on the beautiful Swan River in any number of unique ways; take a romantic Gondola Ride with Gondolas on the Swan, who offer daily 15, 30 or 60 minute peaceful cruises. The Little Ferry Co’s boutique electric ferries are on the water every day providing a regular service connecting Elizabeth Quay, On the Point and Claisebrook Cove in East Perth, and Wild West Charters eco adventure tours are informative and can take you across the water to a number of various destinations.
