The multi award-winning tourist attraction – The Perth Mint, is one of the world’s oldest mints still operating from its original premises, and one of Western Australia’s most historic buildings.
Visitors can also handle more than $400,000 worth of gold bullion, discover the value of their weight in gold, strike and engrave their own personalised medallions, and admire Australia’s largest collection of natural gold nuggets and hundreds of gold bars from around the world, as they gleam from the darkness of the original 1899 vault. In addition, visitors can purchase unique treasures in an atmosphere of Victorian opulence in The Perth Mint Shop.
