Kings Park
Perhaps the most obvious attraction visitors will notice when arriving in Perth is Kings Park. This natural Australian virgin bushland is located within five minutes from the central city area. It is a must for sightseeing and photos of the city. Transport is available free on the City Clipper. After you have taken in the panoramic views, enjoy a picnic or barbecue, it's certainly a popular attraction with fountains, natural bushland and wildflowers.

Western Australia’s world-class long distance walk trail. Enjoy the natural beauty and an array of Spring wildflowers in the heart of the Australian bush.
Rottnest Island
Take the ferry to Rottnest Island. Perth's island is less than half an hour from Fremantle. Bask in the sun, swim, dive, view quokkas and enjoy the history of Rottnest Island.
St George's Cathedral
St. George's Cathedral 38 St. George's Terrace, Perth.
This Anglican Cathedral is located on the site of the original church. The foundation stone was laid in 1880.
Government House
St George's Terrace.
The official residence of the Governor of Western Australia. Built between 1859 and 1864.
Historical Old Mill
At the southern end of the Narrows Bridge.
This was Perth's first flour mill built in 1835. It has been faithfully restored and contains fascinating relics of pioneer days. Open 7 days 10am to 4pm except on public holidays.
Barracks Archway
St George's Terrace in front of Parliament House.
Only the Archway now remains of what it was in the 1860's

The Pinnacles Desert is a must see for visitors to Perth. This unique geological formation provides outstanding photo opportunities especially at sunrise or sunset. Located 254 kilometres from Perth one-way, 506km-return, requires a full day to drive up and back allowing an hour or so to look around. |
